Sold a Condo home in 2019 in Sun Valley, CA. Want to take a moment and let everyone know we were very happy with our realtor, Shalimar. Shalimar did a great job during an extended escrow due to numerous FHA loan and HOA complications. She was very communicative to us and always looked after our interest. After we went 60 days past scheduled closing, she negotiated additional compensation for our holding cost from the buyers. Selling or buying can be a long process that requires years of expertise on the part of the realtor representing you. Having someone on your side to look after all of the details and take care of all of the problems will give you peace of mind. Shalimar helped us purchase a home for my mother. It was a fantastic experience. Part 1 - As a first time home buyers everything seems confusing. Well it did for us, anyway. Our real estate agent pressured us to put an enlarged offer on a place we only "kind of" liked (which already had multiple offers on it). We knew then, she wasn't right for us. So we let her go. Now, finding ourselves with more questions than answers and no real estate agent to turn to, things got pretty scary. Then, we were referred to Shalimar. She sat us down and got to know us.
